Each Backes & Strauss timepiece purchased from The House of Backes & Strauss in Mayfair, London or authorized retailer arrives with a guarantee booklet detailing the timepiece’s reference, serial number and diamond report. Backes & Strauss offers a free appraisal to clients and authorized retailers with proof of purchase.

The Backes & Strauss guarantee booklet you will receive is valid for two years from the date of purchase when authorized and dated by your Backes & Strauss retailer at the time of purchase. The Backes & Strauss guarantee does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear or improper use, including hitting or dropping the watch, nor any repair work carried out by a retailer or service center not authorized by Backes & Strauss. Using only authorized Backes & Strauss retailers, we recommend that your watch is serviced every three years and the battery in a quartz movement is changed every two years. All diamonds used in your watch are natural, untreated and un-enhanced, unless stated otherwise. All round brilliant cut diamonds are of ideal cut proportions. We guarantee that all Backes & Strauss diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the suppliers.
